The Brookwood Alliance consists of five member neighborhoods along the Brookwood segment of Peachtree Road. the focus of the Alliance is to address issues affecting our area as a whole. The neighborhoods in the alliance include:

Brookwood Alliance Mission Statement
The mission of the Brookwood Alliance is to promote, enhance and preserve the common good and general welfare of the people of the Brookwood Alliance neighborhoods by:
- Promoting civic endeavors
- Providing a medium of expression
- Providing a forum for education
- Assisting in relationships with governmental entities through communications
- Assisting in negotiations with various developers regarding projects of impact
- Providing a medium for educating and consolidating information gained through NPU’s
- Promoting a spirit of friendliness and cooperation.
Brookwood Alliance Vision Statement
The vision of the Brookwood Alliance is the fostering of a healthy and livable Brookwood Community as a “calm oasis” between the more intensely developed communities to our north and south. The Alliance seeks to promote through area specific planning principles the following diversity of land uses:
- Single family residential neighborhoods
- Open green spaces
- Low- to mid-rise mixed-use structures built for multi-family housing, retail and commercial business purposes along the Peachtree Corridor
- Major institutions such as Piedmont Hospital and the Shepherd Center.
The Alliance seeks to promote this central spine of the Brookwood Community – the Brookwood Segment of the Peachtree Corridor - as a walkable village, with pedestrian-friendly streets, buildings and services, and attractive, landscaped streetscapes enhanced by a variety of green and open public spaces.
